Wedding Video Donegal-Ciara and Alan.
Donegal is one of my favorite places to shoot a wedding and this time it was back in the fantastic Dunlewy. Something keeps bringing me back here as now I’ve shot lots of weddings in this church. One thing they all have in common is the fantastic Irish element to the day with some of the mass and music delivered in Irish, we don’t see this too often in other parts of the country. This always makes me want to brush up on my Irish.
Well pretty much weather wise the morning was a wash out leaving me unsure of getting any outdoor shots at all. The mood in Ciara’s house was a nice and relaxed one and it was not long before it was time for Ciara to put the dress on, I caught some lovely reactions to her walking down the stairs for the first time in her beautiful dress, it’s always a bonus to catch this along with all the excitement.
After this is was time to to head to Dunlewy’s Sacret heart Church , Co Donegal to capture the rest of Ciara and Alans wedding video Donegal, It’s a small chapel so it was always going to be an intimate Ceremony.
After a very fun and intimate ceremony we were delighted to see the clouds were a lot different than the dark and gloomy ones that meet me on my arrival just a few hours earlier. The one thing about our Irish weather is that it can change very quickly and for the better. This allowed us to get some fantastic moments outside Ciara’s house and to the nearby Horn head Cliffs.
After Ciara and Alan bravely tackled some steep slopes near the edge it was time to head back to the Castlegrove country house for some further wedding celebrations. Enjoy the teaser.
