As a wedding Videographer and Photographer I always look forward to shooting a wedding when it’s in kilronan Castle. A Castle overlooking the shores of Lough Meelagh in County Roscommon.  Its one of my favourite Wedding Venues to capture Wedding Videos in and it never disappoints. Elaine was getting ready in Kilronan Castle the morning of her wedding which was an added bonus for me as the rooms are superbly decorated and filled with lots of natural light which is a rarity for a Castle. Good light is what every Wedding videographer and Wedding Photographer hopes for when shooting a Wedding.

When I arrived the Wedding Hair Stylist Erica Diamond and makeup artist Charlene Flanagan were well under way with the wedding prep. I was working along side Karl keaney photography (the featured image on this blog was taken by karl).  We captured some beautiful Wedding Video Moments with the girls and recorded some nice personal messages from Elaine’s Mum and Dad, something which we always try to do.

After a nice and relaxed morning it was time to head off and meet the lads at the church located in a little village called Keadew in Co.Roscommon. The wedding ceremony was carried out by Richie’s local parish priest Fr John Kenny who added so much personal sentiment to the day. The Ceremony was really relaxed just the way it should be with the fantastic Nicola Mcguire providing the Wedding Music.

After the Wedding Ceremony we made a quick stop off at keadew lake a regular stopping point for Wedding Videos and Photographs. Elaine’s good friend Alan Clarke also got some fantastic drone shots of the bridal party which will be a great addition to her wedding dvd.

From The Beautiful majestic Award winning Kilronan Castle to the quant village of keadew, This was a Wedding Day to remember.
