Wedding Videographer Mayo – Belleek Castle

Every January and February I take a little break from videoing and photographing weddings. This period always gives me a break after the previous busy year I had and the Christmas period which always involves back to back weddings. I was very much looking forward to Aine and Martins Wedding in Belleek Castle with it being my first Wedding Video of 2017.

Our day Started off with the morning preparations in Aine’s house located just outside Boyle in Co. Roscommon. The Hair Stylist was Peter Glancy and the Makeup Artist was Graine from Enhance beauty in Carrick on Shannon, two great professionals I come across a lot and top class at their Job.

We had a nice relaxed morning in Aine’s house, the Child of Prague which was sitting in the porch seemed to do the job nicely keeping the rain at bay. We got beautiful weather, its great being a Wedding Videographer when the weather is good and I’ve no doubt we got the best day so far weather wise of 2017 which was an added bonus for the day.

The Ceremony took place in Croghan Church, Co. Roscommon. Everything ran like clockwork with the Ceremony having a very relaxed and laid back vibe which is always good.

After the wedding ceremony we took the scenic drive to Belleek Castle where we made a quick stop at Lough Talt. As a Wedding Videographer Lough Talt is one of my favourite places to visit. With rugged and wild landscape and  some fantastic scenic mountain backdrops, this place is perfect. I was working along side Mark Capilitan, a photographer I work with quite a bit. Myself and Mark have a similar relaxed style which is always great and helps the day to flow that little bit better.

From the quiet village of Croghan in Roscommon to the sunny hills of Lough Talt in Sligo we then made our final journey to the beautiful Belleek castle. Belleek castle is one of my favourite Wedding Venues in Mayo, it’s one of those venues that has everything. Mia the owner always has everything running like clockwork and there’s always that personal friendly atmosphere.
