Wedding Photographer Ocean Sands

Wedding 25^th October 2019, St. Brigid’s Church Highwood – Ocean Sands, Enniscrone Co. Sligo.

As a wedding photographer it is important to get the balance right when wanting to get the best shots on the day while been mindful of what the couple want.

I need to be aware that not every bride is willing to kick off their shoes and let their dress get a bit ruffled up.

Catherine however really was a dream bride! She kicked off her shoes, threw on her wellies and strutted through the fields like a true country girl!

When choosing a location for your wedding photographs a back up plan really is essential!

We had planned to do the bridal party shots for Catherine & Damien’s Wedding at Ballindoon Abbey (Lough Arrow Pier) and then head onto the beach in Enniscrone to get a few snaps of the newlyweds.

Once we were at Ballindoon Abbey we had a sneaky suspicion we were running out of luck and that the rain was on its way! We decided to get all of the photographs at the Abbey and luckily we did as the weather changed dramatically on the way to Enniscrone, the heavens opened and the rain never stopped!
