Watch Bride Aoife sing a Lady Gaga song to her Groom on their wedding day!

Aoife & Niall’s wedding took place on New Years Eve 2019 and we shared a blog post on it some time ago. We mentioned that during the ceremony Aoife had a surprise in store for Niall. She stood up and dedicated a lovely song for Niall. It was such a beautiful, personal touch to their ceremony. The song Aoife chose to sing was by Lady Gaga called ‘Is that alright’. Aoife has an absolutely amazing voice and she completely blew everyone away. It’s not every day that you see a bride standing up to sing on her own wedding day so we had to share this lovely moment with you.

Suppliers List 

The theme for the wedding was to keep it simple with Ivory and Green. Vivienne from Rosewater Wedding Decor did an amazing job with the ceremony and reception decor. As it was New Years Eve Aoife and Niall had themed party hats and horns galore. Aoife’s sister Gail, who is a florist in California made the Flower Bouquets, corsages for the Mothers and buttonholes for the Guy’s. They were Fab!

The bridal party’s hair was done by the brilliant Lisa and Lucy from Rossano’s Hair salon in Sligo. The girls make up was done by the always amazing Ann Young. She made the girls feel Glamorous and natural at the same time.

Niall got his suit in Lavins Menswear in Ballymote, Co. Sligo. He went for a tailored Benetti suit with a checked jacket and matching waistcoat. He teamed this with navy trousers and navy shoes. To finish his look he had an Ivory Dickie Bow and Handkerchief.

The bridesmaids wore simple emerald green dresses from JJs House Online. They were a satin fabric, had a boat neckline and open back.

Aoife & Niall had a civil ceremony in the Ice House Hotel, Ballina, Co. Mayo. They chose to have a civil ceremony as it could be held in the same venue as the reception. This made the day more relaxed for Aoife, Niall and their guests. They had wonderful musicians and singers on the day, Orla and Emer Shannon, Sarah Crummy and Graeme Bourke. Aoife is a wedding singer and loves music, so this was a big part of their ceremony. Hence why Aoife surprised Niall and their guests by singing a song.

Aoife’s favourite part of the day was their ceremony, from walking up the aisle with her dad to marrying her best friend. They also loved greeting all their guests after the ceremony and ringing in the New Year with their nearest and dearest. Aoife & Niall also had a Magician, Aiden Murphy Magic, he was absolutely amazing. All their guests still talk about him! And The Mass Band, had the dance floor full all night long.
